This is Lawn Lake, looking towards the Saddle of Fairchild and Hagues Peak. In 1982, a dam on Lawn Lake broke, drastically reducing its size. The area has been slow in healing; in fact, you can plainly see the "bathtub ring" that shows how high the lake's water level once was.
