Morning light from the window.
We begin our pilgramage to St. Jerome hermitage and peak. We pass by "Jesus is Condemned to Death" of the Stations of the Cross
The path is too easy for us. We need extra pentance so we opt for the canyon approach.
Note the anchors on the bottom left. We found these after climbing up! Maybe we will get extra blessings.

In 880 the image of the Mother of God is found in a cave in the mountain. The Chapel of the Holy Grotto was built around the cave in 1696.
On the way back from the grotto we follow the Mysteries of the Rosary in reverse.
