The East Side:
Rugged peaks, deep canyons, lush meadows and high alpine lakes make this area one of the most scenic in Colorado.
Glacier Gorge/Loch Vale:
Two deep, heavily glaciated canyons. The area includes sheer cliffs, spectacular waterfalls, and the highest peaks in the Park.
Longs Peak:
The highest peak in the Park, and clearly the monarch of northern Colorado. One of the most inspiring mountain areas of the world.
Wild Basin:
The wild southeastern section of the Park. Solitude, lakes, waterfalls and beautiful vistas make this area a backpacker's delight.
The West Side:
Heavy moisture makes this area the lushest in the Park. Its distance from major cities also makes it the most secluded. Absolutely full of wonderful secrets...
The Never Summer Mountains:
Rugged peaks, once volcanic, tower over the headwaters of the Colorado River.
The Mummy Mountains:
A remote and heavily forested region, covering the northern third of the Park.
